Copyright Policy

DomainoHost respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our customers to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with applicable law, including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") where applicable.

Filing a Copyright Infringement Notice

If you believe that content hosted on our servers or a domain registered through us infringes your copyright, please submit a written notice to abuse@domainohost.com containing the following information:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including the specific URL(s) where the material is located.
  • Your contact information, including address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Our Process

Upon receiving a valid infringement notice, we will forward it to the customer responsible for the allegedly infringing content and may remove or disable access to the material. Repeated or confirmed infringement may result in suspension or termination of the customer's account.

Counter-Notification

If you believe that content was removed or disabled in error or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to abuse@domainohost.com containing your name, contact information, identification of the removed material and its prior location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the applicable federal court in your district (or as otherwise required by law).

Repeat Infringers

In accordance with applicable law, we maintain a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of customers who are determined to be repeat infringers.
